Maybe.

The character of Orphan Annie is supposed to be 11 years old. However, when Daddy Warbucks takes Annie to the movies, the movie they see is Camille (1936) released in 1936. Later, when he is presented with Annie's forged birth certificate, it is revealed that her birthday is October 18, 1922. That would make Annie 14 years old, not 11.

Marriage has come and gone.
Roller Derby has come and gone.
The love of my life, has changed my life.
I have learned that loving someone shouldn't be a constant struggle.
I no longer garden for a living.
My father past away.

I have the most amazing nieces and nephews, that light up my world.
Went to my 7th annual Mountain Brewers Fest.
I'm happier than I have ever been.
I've gained 65 pounds.

...Guess what this girl has on her mind.

I started Weight Watchers 2.29 weeks ago.

Sweet Baby Girl

Farley, one of my house mates (and very good friend) accidentally locked Gerty in the garage last night. It took me way too long to realize that she wasn't begging at my feet while I cooked dinner. When it finally dawned on me that she was not there, we searched every little nook and cranny in the house. Now panicking, we walked up and down the street yelling for her and even knocked on several neighbors door before finally going up stairs to recruit some help from the housemates. The 13 year old offered up several suggestion including mentioning that Farley had been in the garage earlier that evening, maybe she was in there. She was.

K-Swiss brought her out and she ran to me like she had been in there for days. She was as relived and happy to see me as I was to see her.

The thoughts that were running though my head while I searched for her were just awful! I kept looking into the fairly busy city street hoping that I didn't see anything distressing there. The dogs never have their collars on unless we are going someplace. What if someone had picked her up?!

Both the dogs now wear their collars full time. They keep looking at me like they want to know where we are going.

Mr. and Mrs.

Being married rocks! Next Sunday will be K-Swiss and My one month wedding anniversary (and my birthday btw.) We have known each other for ten plus years. Of those ten years we have been dating on and off for over seven of them, and living together for over five of those. After all that, we act like an old married couple. I never would have thought that just having a legal binding document between the two of us would change our relationship at all, but it has! We have been so much closer, and nicer to each other. We have been communicating better and have had deeper conversations. It's as if we needed that extra boost of commitment to let ourselves open up to each other. High Five to being married!

Wedding Day!

It's 6am here and I'm wide eyed and bushy tailed! I want to wake up to the sounds of the Ocean (and K Swiss snoring:) everyday, forever!

Although we have not been exploring much, this vacation has been a dream so far. Our Hotel room is amazing! It's a straight view 50 yards from the beach. My Sister and my Mom got in the same day we did. It's been a total joy to be on vacation with them. We had silly camera extravaganza on the beach for about 5 hrs yesterday. (pictures to come!) M and T (BFF's from San Fran) arrived yesterday. The six of us all went out to Fred's Fish House for dinner last night. We exposed Mom to sides of us I'm not sure she will ever succeed in wiping from memory. T has no censor at all! But he and M and K Swiss together are unbelievably hilarious! Mom was a good sport.

I'm still waiting to see K Swiss's Fam. They got in quite late yesterday and had crazy jet lag. My bff's from SLC are here too, but they are staying in Lahina which is about 45min. NW from here.

The wedding will be on the beach that I can see from my hotel room, this evening. I am really excited! The agenda for wedding morning: Coffee, breakfast, and more beach time.

Last Post as a Miss.
see you lates.

xoxo

Maui Here We Come!

Only 3 more days till we get hitched! We take off in the morning. The dogs are in play land for the next 2+ weeks. I don't know how we are going to deal without them!
It's all coming together. (Even though I have not even started packing yet! *it's 8pm the night before!*) I got my nails (thanks Wren!) and hair done today. I feel like I want to going out on the town. Must pack though. I let my bottle of wine help me with that. :)
I will tell you all about it when I get back. I haven't been posting because I have not wanted to share the details with those that will be joining us on Maui. I can't wait to share though! ttys!
Mahalo!
